Overview

Dalil is an AI-powered media monitoring and analysis suite that helps users navigate information overload and surface critical insights from open sources. The project enables fact-checkers, journalists, jurists, and research analysts from the MENA region, Western Balkans, and France to make sense and get to the heart of the information around them.

Dalil is led by Siren, a change management organization that supports its partners to become more responsive and impactful.

Project's trajectory over past year

Dalil has evolved from a MENA-focused platform for fact-checking into a comprehensive media monitoring and analysis suite with an expanded geographic reach in France and the Western Balkans.

The project has developed new proprietary content analysis tools, including an automated article analyzer and a legal-AI custom model that analyses complex claims involving international humanitarian law.

During their year of SCUP support, the project substantially grew its network and partnerships and was a finalist project in MIT’s Solve Global Challenges 2024.
